Keeps a video motion-graphics kit and its editable Figma boards in sync - the creator designs and tweaks in Figma, Claude ports the changes into the Remotion components and brand tokens, and mirrors code changes back. Use when the creator says they changed the boards, wants a new graphic designed, or wants the kit visible in Figma.
Install
Run this in your project folder. It works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and dozens of other agents.
$ npx skills add appariciojunior/video-editor-skills --skill figma-roundtripNeeds Node.js. Add -g to install for every project, or -a claude-code to skip the agent picker.
How to use Figma Roundtrip
Once it's installed, Claude reads this skill on its own whenever a request matches what it's for, so you don't have to mention it by name. In Claude Code you can also run it directly by typing /figma-roundtrip.
It contains no scripts, only instructions and reference files, so it can't run code on its own.
What the instructions cover
- 1Set up once
- 2When they say "I changed the boards"
- 3When the kit changes in code
- 4Learned taste (ask your creator, these are examples)
